Tomorrow leaving leaving my comfort zone. I am getting on a plane. A big one. To Paris. I am currently experiencing the whole spectrum of human emotion, which I guess is always the case when you do something you haven't done before. I am trying to pack my bag. Trying is the key word in that sentence.

Things That Annoy Me

Shirts with offensive slogans.

Okay, this was inspired by this one man who came into my work today which said “boobs make me smile.” Really dude? REALLY? Did you want to just go and write dickhead while you’re there too? Seriously, what did you get out of wearing that t-shirt? I mean other than making evey female within reading distance of your shirt feel uncomfortable and making yourself look like a creep.

I don’t care if it makes you chuckle a bit in your own privacy but seriously. In public? Yeah, not so much.

Things that I don’t understand

People who say “I act a lot older than I am”

Seriously?

Do you even understand how juvenile and immature that sounds?

More often that not people I met who have said this quite often just act like they have something to prove. In the end it just makes them look more childish.

I get that people can be more mature, sure, but that is quite often completely different, and I promise you, it’s rarely the more mature people who say “I act a lot older than I am.” Seriously? How many of you have heard a forty year old saying that? None.

So “I act older than I am” kids, just act your age. Enjoy being your age. You are meant to be that age and honestly, you aren’t fooling anyone.
